Nina Ricci is a fashion house founded in Paris in 1932 by Maria "Nina" Ricci and her son Robert, and owned since 1998 by the Spanish beauty and fashion firm Puig.
Nina Ricci's haute couture firm first opened its doors in 1932. Her son Robert Ricci ran the firm and handled the finances while she designed gowns. She worked directly on the mannequin with the materials to ensure that they had shape once they were finished.
