Privacy policy
codressing UG (hereinafter referred as codressing), as the website operator and responsible body under the data protection legislation, is responsible for the protection of the personal data of the codressing website’s users.
The collection, processing (storage, modification, transmission, blocking and deletion) and use of personal data by codressing is carried out exclusively in compliance with the applicable data protection law. Personal data are details of the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or determinable natural person.
All the data transmitted by the user to codressing will be treated confidentially. In principle, the data will not be made available to third parties, unless the user has given his/her consent or codressing has the right or the obligation to disclose such data (for example, following a judicial decision). External service providers who provide services on behalf and in the name of Codressing, for example, payment service providers, collection companies, or senders of emails or newsletters, are not to be intended as third parties.
What data does codressing collect from its members to fulfill the contractual relationship?
In order for codressing to be able to provide the services described in more details in the General Terms and Conditions, it is necessary to collect, process and use the personal data provided by the user (also called codressing user or Codressing member) during the registration process, or for the conclusion of a Freemium or Premium subscription. The purpose of the collection of these data is to fulfill the contractual relationship with the user.
During the first free registration (conclusion of what is called "free membership"), the user is invited to provide certain minimum information, without which the registration cannot be completed. These mandatory data are:
- Sex
- Name, First name
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- City, Country
- Email address
- Password
To access the codressing account the user needs the email address provided and the password chosen during the registration phase (so-called access data).
The individual personal data of the user that codressing collects, processes and uses are the data that the user enters in his/her profile concerning his/her physiological and/or sexual identity. This data can be, for example, Information on physical constitution (shoe size, clothing etc.)
When uploading an offer, the user will find a list of all the personal data that he/she can provide in his/her offers concerning his physiological and/or sexual and / or social identity.
All codressing profile data is visible to users on the codressing website.
If the user decides to use a paid service offered by codressing, the following information will be collected:
- Last name and first name
- Residential address
- Payment data
Credit card data is stored by the payment provider, and not by codressing.
What data does codressing collect from the users?
Each time the user accesses codressing website, the user data is transmitted through the corresponding Internet browser and stored in log files, called server log files. This data is:
- IP address (Internet protocol address) of the accessing computer
- User ID on the codressing platform (only for codressing members)
- Name of the page viewed
- Date and time of extraction
- The reference URL (source URL) from which the user accessed the page

The main purpose of collecting the before-mentioned personal data is to provide the user with a safe, fluid and efficient use of codressing website and services. In particular, the users’ personal data will be used for the following purposes:
- Provide the services, included customer services, demanded by the customers;
- Adaptation, tracking and improvement of codressing services, content and advertising, as well as verification of the communication between codressing customers and customer service employees;
- The offer of other codressing products and services that may be eligible for codressing members;
- Sending targeted marketing communication and advertising offers from codressing cooperation partners;
- Prevention, detection and investigation of possible prohibited offenses or illegal activities, as per the application of the General Terms and Conditions;
- Dispute resolution and problem resolution.

Cookies are small text files which are stored on the user's PC by the web browser and which contain pseudonymised data without personal reference. codressing uses cookies to allow subsequent identification of the user, as per the contests explained below.
Cookies are used on codressing website to increase the user-friendliness of the website itself and to make it personalized and tailored to the needs of the customers. Moreover, if necessary, they can be used to analyze codressing marketing option. Google Analytics
codressing uses the Google Analytics web analysis service provided by Google Inc. to analyze the behaviour of codressing users on codressing website. Cookies are used for this purpose. The information generated by cookies regarding the use of the codressing website is generally transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there. codressing uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIP ()" or "ga ('set', 'anonymizeIp', true)", so that IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form, excluding any direct personal reference. Google Analytics advertising functions (remarketing or retargeting)
codressing also uses the advertising functions of Google Analytics in the context of Google Analytics or Google Universal Analytics. This technology allows users who have already visited codressing and who are interested in certain offers to be contacted by targeted advertising on the pages of the Google partner network. Remarketing on Facebook
codressing uses remarketing technologies for Facebook ads, including custom audiences and custom website audiences. This technology allows users who already visited codressing and who are interested its offers to be contacted by targeted advertisement on Facebook. The insertion of targeted advertising is done using cookies, which analyze the behaviour of the user when he/she visits the website and use it for targeted product recommendations and advertising based on the interest expressed. Information about the user's activities on the codressing website (for example, their browsing behaviour, the visited sub-pages of the Internet offer, etc.) and the IP address transmitted from the user's computer are stored and used for geographic control of advertising.
Right of rejection: If the user does not want interest-based advertising to be created via Facebook remarketing technologies, he/she can deactivate the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the deactivation page of the network advertising initiative. Integration of social media plug-ins
Social bookmarks (Facebook and Twitter, for example) are integrated into codressing. Social bookmarks are Internet bookmarks with which users of such a service can collect news, links and messages. On codressing, they are simply integrated as links to the corresponding services. After clicking on the integrated graphic, the user is redirected to the page of the respective supplier, meaning that it is only in this moment that the information of the user is transmitted to the respective supplier. Facebook login
Facebook login codressing offers the user the possibility of registering on codressing platform with Facebook-Connect. Additional registration is therefore not necessary or possible. To log in, the user is redirected to the Facebook page, where he has already logged in with his usage data. This links the Facebook profile to the codressing service. Through this link, codressing automatically receives the public Facebook profile and the email address of the user from Facebook Inc. The public Facebook profile contains data that the user has made available to the public on Facebook. As a general rule, the Facebook public profile contains the following data: Name, profile picture, gender, language, country, age group, Facebook ID.

codressing also uses the functions of the Twitter messaging service offered by Twitter Inc, 795 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. By using the functions of Twitter, the websites visited by the user are linked to their Twitter account and communicated to other users. During this process, data is also transmitted to Twitter. As the provider of the pages, codressing has no knowledge of the type, content or extent of the data transmitted. The user can modify their data protection settings on Twitter themselves. Right of refusal: In order to prevent the operator of the respective SocialMedia plugin from collecting information about the user when he/she visits codressing websites, the user can inactivate the plugins through the switch next to the Social-MediaPlugin button; otherwise, the user can log out from the Social-Media operator when visiting Codressing, deleting a possible existing cookie from the browser of the Social-Media provider.
