About the brand

Founded in 2017, Kwaidan Editions has already been a finalist for the LVMH award, has captured the attention of buyers all over the world, and has dealt with industry insiders. The two founders live in London: Hung La is American-Vietnamese, and Léa Dickely is French. Both in work and in private life, they are both cinephiles enthusiasts, and for their brand, they chose the name "Kwaidan" inspired by the homonymous film by Masaki Kobayashi (1965) based on a series of traditional folk ghost stories.
