About the brand
The American designer Jamie Lim created Kayu as a way to connect to her childhood memories in Asia. The brand sources and upcycles the finest quality natural, organic materials.
Did you know that? Kayu work with women cooperatives in the Philippines who weave and embroider its bags by hand. Most of these weavers are mothers, and making bags allows them to look after their families while earning a living.
